Our History
Diane has been involved in cat rescue for 10 years. She actively is involved in the spaying and neutering of stray cats
and placing the friendly cats and kittens up for adoption.
Dave is the former owner of Brookline Grooming and Kennels of Freehold and New Egpyt, New Jersey and in Freeberg, Pennsylvania.
1993 Graduate of the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming. Breeder and winner of championship West Highland White Terrier winning
Westminister two times.

Diane & Dave started dating in 2003. They started a part-time in-home grooming business in 2005, Kitty Kare.
One day Dave asked Diane to see if there was any local cat shows. After attending 2 shows, they decided to give it a try.
Their first show was in April 2005 at the CFA's Delaware River Cat Show showing Buttercup and Doo Doo Magoo in Household Pet.
They were hooked. 2006-2007 CFA's North Atlantic Region agreed to start scoring Household Pets and they had 2 cats in the
Top 10, Buttercup BEST and Peaches 8th.
Now after discovering Selkirk Rex cats when they adopted Blacky & Ziggy from Jessey Horn of Dodge City, they decided
to start breeding and showing Selkirk Rex Cats. With the help of Patti Meek of Calicurl they got Purrfectcurl's Biscotti a
2nd generation Selkirk Rex to develop the breed.
